AQJ1004 - Winged Chimera

[Picture of Winged Chimera] Very beautiful winged chimera whose ears form a canopy over his back on which is carved a bat mounting a ancient shield form. Possibly commissioned by a military officer or general for personal protection (and would be a good gift for air force officer today). AQJ1006 - Belt Buckle With Dragons

[Picture of Belt Buckle] Round belt buckle showing two dragons cavorting around Chinese auspicious characters below a wide brimmed hat. Strong and wearable today, the jade is sea-green with brownish inclusions due to probable short-term burial near iron. Perfect condition but of provincial style and workmanship. The piece is 2 1/8 inches across by 5/8 inches deep including back buckle loop. PRICE: $140.00

AQJ1008 - Boy Under Blanket

[Picture of Boy Under Blanket] Startling pebble carving of a boy seemingly peering out from a blanket, his covering being entirely composed of the orangish-brown skin of the pebble jade. 1750 - 1850 AD, he is 2 1/16 inches long, 9/16 inches thick and quite hefty. Thus, he most likely was used as a sleeve weight to keep them vertical during the official duties. The boy is of hard, off-white nephrite and his eyes are closed in sleep and his wide-brimmed hat is tucked between his arm and chin. Unique and an excellent fingering jade. PRICE: $235.00

AQJ1010 - Tao' t'ieh Mask on Pillar

[Picture of Tao' t'ieh Mask on Pillar] Tao' t'ieh classic mask sitting atop a short, tapered pillar with two dragons protruding from the sides. Although one of the delicate side dragons has been reattached, this is difficult to see and the repair appears very strong. Pierced vertically, the amulet is strung with a brown, neck cord and makes a beautiful and bold pendant statement. 2 1/2 inches tall by 1/2 inch thick. Very artistically designed and executed. PRICE: $350.00
